JD Rothman, a former instructor of remedial freshman composition, is an Emmy award-winning television writer, producer and lyricist. The Neurotic Parent’s Guide to College Admissions. The book is a favorite of harried admissions officers and angst-ridden parents in need of a dose of sanity while navigating/micromanaging the process. Rothman is a frequent speaker and panelist at high school college nights, application workshops, and events with college admissions officers.
